Future generations will call us zoomers when we refer a core 5 as an “i5” 😭

The ultra naming convention makes it seem like the cpu is off brand

Anyone remember Core 2 Duo? This reminded me of that.

The core "i" has been a symbol of class and integrity as well as some sort of value, while the "ultra" just makes it sound kinda cheap or like ultra this ultra that, get the new ultra product sounds just like every other thing many companies these days would say

They need a more comprehensive and easy-to-use naming system for everyone who never took collage classes on computer hardware 😂😂

20 Years later I would feel nostalgic about i3, i5, i7 and i9
That would make me sad😢

I have a feeling that these processors are going to need a insane amount of cooling, liquid nitrogen for boosting 😂

Adding "ultra" to it makes it sound like a cheap chinease knock off

Anyone remember when we still had Pentiums…

They just made the naming scheme so much more complicated than it needs to be.

It was just a few years ago Intel was talking major shit about AMD saying they just glued shit Ryzen kind of kicked em in the nuts and now they are doing the same thing.

Here is something to actually make a short about: Intel is removing legacy cruft (mostly 16-bit and even 32-bit operating modes) from their processors potentially breaking everyone's computers.

Remember that, more than a decade ago, they had the "Core 2" lineup.

Whether it was Core 2 Single, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Extreme.

Did intel make fun of AMD calling their processors as glued together. Now they're going to blatantly copy the idea😂

There is literally no good reason to do this. Absolutely none. Intel has been recognizable because of the core i series. And i am gonna mis the name😢.

when you see the "i" in the name you know it's gonna be expensive. This new names remind me of Intel Duo Core..
