Liberals will 'look at what went wrong': Stuart Robert

Liberal MP Stuart Robert says the Liberals need to "look harder at what went wrong" and how they can "better attune" themselves to what Australians are looking for in a centre-right party.

"You can expect us to come out straight from the blocks, anchored as a centre-right party, anchored in areas where we got great swings to us across seats - Queensland did exceptionally well," he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

"You will see us stand up for aspirational Australians, come out of the blocks hard, and hold Mr Albanese to account, because he promised that everything would be cheaper - and things are about to get very hard for this government that has no economic plan."

I haven’t had a TV for ten years. Freedom from thought control.

It’s not who votes it’s who counts the vote 🗳

They lost because they're conservative. Young people are out voting the old guard now, young people tend to be more left wing.

Those teal seats will be ready to pull the Liberal lever after next 3yrs.
Never interfere when your opposition is destroying itself.
Keep that in mind

The Coalition was in power for nine years, the public decided for change, as it would have if Labour had been in power for that length of time.

Kick out the moderates and keep the conservatives forever.

Look at what went wrong. I voted for Palmer because Morrison was and another thing was labour keep saying Morrison was weak towards the Chinese in the Solomon Islands but did not say a peep how Andrews (labour) actually signed us up to the Chinese commy party. (Belt and roads )

Lost all basic conservative values, simple really.

There is no point in the politics of despair. Government will smear the Labor / Green members. Australia rarely elects a fourth term government. But they have often turfed governments on their first term. Offering voters a palatable choice for change is the proven path.

If this talking head really believes that LPA has been a centre-right party since Turnbolllocks and is representative, then the Libs are done.
Fortunately, I doubt Dutton will be so idiotic.

Shadow treasurer ambitions. And he billed taxpayers $3000 a month for personal internet bills.

need to be more right wing
Being labor lite clearly didn’t work
And in three years time the young people will realise how bad labor is

Throw out half the party, the more progressive you become the less the public can relate to the party.
Stop catering to the 1% and you will gain popularity

They can call themselves centre right but Dutton doesn’t want to be moderate conservative so that means hard right.

Under Turnbull and Morrison Liberal was centre-left. It was basically Labor-Lite. I voted One Nation. I won't vote Liberal again unless they move right.

People with broad insight want all politicians out of their lives. This system is broken.
