Hello everyone!

Today, i am sharing my best top 10 tips on how to buy the best WINTER BEATER CAR (a car under 2000$). Why have a winter beater? In canada, we have very rough winters, a lot of salt & rocks are used in order to properly give our streets traction therefore, a lot of these things might fly into your beautiful car. For example, a honda civic type R or subaru wrx sti has big brembos so they cannot buy any random wheels to fit. Also, since these are nicer cars, you might as well also buy much better tires. A good 2000$ is put just to pass the winter. A winter beater ,on the other hand, everything is cheap on it. 14-15 inches wheels & tires, good fuel economy , can take any hits or rocks or scratches , can eat up any road salt and you can make money off it when winter is gone , what else reasons do you want?

Such an underrated, informative video!
So many good tips for someone who isn’t familiar with cars and car repairs but simple enough that anybody can look for these things. Thank you for posting!

Good video and valid tips, however in this market you can';t expect to find a car that is mechanically perfect for under $2k and certainly not under 1k. For a 1k-2k car, a small oil leak, power steering leak, or jerky transmission is expected. Just make sure it drives properly and the issue is small enough that the car can be a daily beater and isn't about to be toast. For this budget you're looking for a beater and a beater has issues. If you insist on a perfect car under $2k you'll never find one imo
