‘They will exploit it’: Donald Trump predicted to become president after failed assassination

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump “guarantees” he will become the next president of the United States, says former Howard government minister and Bondi Partners senior advisor Howard McGauran.

“You just have to wait for the Republican Convention starting in the next 24 hours to see the canonisation, the emotion,” he told Sky News Australia.

“They will exploit it to the hilt.”
