In Canada the Senate has a term limit of 75 yrs of age at which time they must retire. This has been in place since 1965. The US Senate is extremely old and out of step with the needs of society. I have watched McConnell and Feinstein this week and have to give my head a shake. The biggest gift they could give their country is to move on and let others represent their district. Yes, I am a senior.

The 84 year old owner of the store where I work just passed away. Over the last two years I saw him do this kind of thing more and more often, just stopping in the middle of a sentence and staring at a wall for 5 minutes, until he was finally diagnosed with dementia.

My mother looked like this when she would have those small TIA strokes. She hid the fact it was happening until I took her to lunch one day. We were almost ready to leave when one happened. She wouldn't let me call paramedics, so when I got her into my car I drove her right to a hospital. She also kept saying she was fine, but as soon as we walked through the ER door they came running with a wheelchair. She was there about 6 hours, they said she had had many more in the past and started treatment for them. They can lead to a large stroke. Seriously, we need age limits, required exams for mental and physical wellness and abilities, for people in these jobs.
