At any given time the government has many issues that it has to focus on. Just because it’s placing some focus on whether or not TT should be banned doesn’t mean they aren’t paying close attention and putting a lot of energy towards bigger and more pressing issues as well. Many things can be true at the same time.

I think the national security concern is valid just for the fact that politicians on both sides of the aisle are both in agreement. The creators on TikTok are creative and smart and resourceful... I'm sure they can pivot to other media in no time.

I have mixed feelings for the TikTok ban. But I think the government should get their priorities straight and worry about more pressing matters

As someone who doesn't use tik Tok, it doesn't affect me and in my eyes it should get banned but it seems like there are going to be issues if it does.

How about you make a video advising all of us to write our reps and demand they repeal the law or we will 100% vote against them and will support a primary challenger. Each person should write 3 letters, 2 to their senators and one to their rep. A link detailing where to find info on all three would be helpful
