We were in Moab the last week of in between two floodings there ! Perfect timing for us....but man, I've seen some of the video, must be so frustrating for you folks

Resident here. There was a 50/100 year flood ever since then we've been having bad floods. What happened was that big flood? Basically permanently changed the creek bed. So now instead of flushing how we are used to now it actually angles TOWARDS the roads and such. Its bad. Whats worse is when people are in canyons and get caught. Theres been more than one death this year sadly. If there is a chance of rain get yourselves some emergency float vests. Seems frivolous, but trust me, its better than nothing when the flood comes.
