According to me this year in CET 90% freshers and 10% repeaters wrote the exam (185k freshers and 24k repeaters) to fix this mess KEA should not change the existing rank for the freshers but they should give a different rank to the repeaters by considering both cet and Board marks i.e. from 1 to 24, 000 and separate cutoffs to the repeaters & 10% reserved seats for repeaters in all colleges. My intention is that there will be no problem for freshers and repeaters when it is done and it will not affect to our present cet rank what we have now.

We prepared for boards, practical kcet all in one year...
N we had 1st PUC complete online..n 2nd PUC starting online only..we didn't evn get time between boards n kcet exam to revise 1st year syallbus..😐😐

Kea is to blame, if it had given a notice that thy wouldn't consider board marks for 2021 candidates this year then there wouldn't have been any problems for now..

Separate ranks should be provided to freshers and repeators and further procsess can be planned by kea.

I have one another solution:
Make 2 rankings
1st ranking is the current ranking given by kea
2nd temprorary ranking based on only kcet for all students, then with the help of second ranking spot the repeaters rank where they lies and merge it with the first ranking
For example: if a repeater got 3000 rank in 2nd ranking merge him to the 1st ranking naming 3000A or with some other codes
Like this we can solve the problem I think so all will get their deserved ranks #justiceforall. It's a complicated solution as the problem is also complicate
Or else 75:25 rule for repeaters is somewhat acceptable but not this 50:50
