The fact that her last name is pronounced like "styling" is very cool to me

“Once you start the cheese pull, you’re committed.” Words to live by. These are really fascinating insights, actually; great info and charming presenter.

Bouncy meat... ingredients flying into sandwiches... this woman pointed out all the questions I had on food commercials. Hearing a professional telling you "it's stupid but HEY, corporate likes it!" its absolute GOLD!

Love that she knows all the unsavory secrets, and even after telling us about them, she still says, "It worked. I want to eat that food."

I applaud all the food stylists out there! I have worked on Lays packaging as a photoshop artist and I can attest to the rigorous parameters that goes into building the perfect chip (flavor coating, shape, texture and color). Enjoyed this video a lot!

Love her. She is the sweetest person ever in person as a well. I have worked with her here in Las Vegas. She is the creative director for Giada and her restaurants. So knowledgeable, creative and all around great person/chef.

She’s terrific! More Lish Sterling videos please. Maybe plating lessons for us all, or other vids where her expertise could help us all in the kitchen. She’s a natural presenter + so authentic. :)

My sister worked for a company doing the art for a hot dog package. To get the perfect grill marks on the dogs for the shoot, they just drew them with a magic marker.

A bakery worker told me once she had a customer get mad because she wanted the Cannoli in the case instead of waiting for one to be filled fresh. She told her those are for display, they are filled with Crisco. haha

She is adorable! This could be an pretty UNsavoury topic but she’s made it fun. She also seems to actually like food and working with it.

Somehow she's made me want to eat the promotional food and that's a real skill given what that food actually is. Pretty sure she could describe a car crash and make it sound appealing, dang.

Funny thing about that McDonald's commercial. I worked at McDonald's for a couple of years back in high school. Basically every burger patty is cooked in what's called a clamshell grill. Its a flat top grill with another grill on top that clamps down on the burgers (looks like a clam). You literally just set it to "quarter pounder, " press a button, and it cooks it for an exact amount of seconds on both sides.

IDK what they were doing flipping that burger in the shot but that's definitely not how they really do it. Only way its getting fliipped like that is if someone dropped it on its way out.
