*How To Group Rows in Excel*
Now without further ado lets learn how to how to group rows in excel with expand/collapse or plus and minus sign.

*Step 1: * Select the rows you need to group or hide.
*Step 2: * Click on Data tab and then click on group.
*Step 3: * Select Rows and click ok.

Done you’ve grouped your selected rows. You can create upto eight layers of grouping.
You can group rows in excel using keyboard shortcut Alt+ Shift + Right Arrow
And to ungroup rows press Alt+ Shift + Left Arrow from your keyboard.
Once you click on the minus sign or 1/2/3 from the left side it will collapse the rows once you click on 3 or the plus sign it will expand the rows.
This is how you group and ungroup rows in Microsoft excel.
