How to group rows in Excel? That's what you will learn in this tutorial! I'll show you three ways on how to group rows and two of them are actually automatic functions in Excel. With the last method you will also be able to automatically calculate the sum of your grouped columns/rows. So, basically we are talking about the automatic calculation of the subtotal values.
By the way: after you grouped the rows, you will also be able to expand and collapse them. So, if you wondered how to collapse rows in Excel, you first have to group them.

This tutorial for #group #rows in Excel should work for Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013, Excel 2016, Excel 2019 and also Office 365. This also works with Microsoft Office on a Mac and also with open source software such as OpenOffice or Libre Office.
