Some of my videos gets skipped and don’t get downloaded, can someone tell me why? Does it has to do with how much gigabytes I choose? I always choose 50gb just in case since I have alot of videos

Just so people know, ever since October 10, 2019, downloading your YouTube videos from Google Takeout may not guarantee that you receive the original quality version of all of these videos. The only way to guarantee that you get each video back in original quality is if you perform the Google Takeout download within 30 days of each of the respective videos being uploaded to YouTube. For example, if all but 1 of your YouTube videos are under or exactly 30 days old, all videos under or at the end of this 30 day range should be downloaded in original quality, while the 1 video that is more than 30 days old may be downloaded through Takeout in a lower quality than it originally was when you first went to upload it to YouTube. This new Google Takeout YouTube video download quality policy is still in effect as of 2023 as far as I know.

I got this information from a post by a YouTube staff member on Google Support called "Update to how videos are downloaded from Google Takeout". I posted a comment about this around a month ago or so on this video, but my comment got removed for some reason, but I believe it could have been because of the link featured in my post, so I will not include a link to the Google Support post that I just mentioned in this comment. On the off chance that Pete Johns removed it though, then I would just like to kindly ask Pete directly not to remove my comment, as I believe it contains important information that everybody who used and plans on using Google Takeout to download their YouTube videos should know.

I screen recorded all of mine on the Amaracea channel before deleting them off YouTube

Saved most of them to a hard drive… Which broke itself. So, thanks to YouTube’s ineptitude, I lost almost all those memories including my “Tropical” music video I worked so hard on. I would have never had to delete anything if it wasn’t for the fact all my videos had been comedy sketches without cussing in them, making it impossible to know if my content was or wasn’t “for kids.“
That problem isn’t even a thing on any other platform. Only on YouTube. If I ever start making comedy videos again they’re going on StoryFire or Rumble, where there’s no looming threat of being sued because the company might have a different view of your videos than you.

Why does it not show any downloads although it shows i have 42 subs. I lost my channel when it said i was under age, but now I’m of age it said they have all of my old stuff but it wont pop up on the email. Help would be appreciated, because I have lots of good memories there.
