Download videos you’ve uploaded with YouTube Studio

You can download MP4 files of videos that you’ve uploaded to YouTube in either or 720p or 360p, depending on the video size. You can’t download other people’s YouTube videos, but you can watch videos offline in the YouTube app if you have a YouTube Premium membership.

So I know this video is old, but it seems odd that videos you download via Takeout are in 1080p, but downloading via Studio is still 720 max. What's the deal with this?

Youtube is popular because Its good reputation: its accessable and easy to download without any charges. It is simply for everyone. But now you tube is became more commercial and people have to sign-in for primer to download videos that people had freely uploaded. If some free new brand video site lunch in near future, surely YouTube will go south. keep YouTube for common people and don't make money on those videos that people had uploaded for free..

Never used this feature and never gonna use it unless it's at least 1080p or higher. If I need to download my video, I want it in the original resolution, not a worse version. Fix it YouTube!
