How can you tell if an ionic substance is “soluble” (dissolves) or “insoluble” (doesn’t really dissolve) in water?

Can you tell by looking at the chemical formula alone? Well, yes. As long as you get comfortable with a set of rules. This video will show you how.

Thank you so much for these well organized simple videos. I got a 91 on my Chem test over atomic radius and ionization bc of you. That test was going to be one that I was surely going to do bad on but the night before I kept replaying it to understand the entire unit.

Can you please make a video about the statement if “Altering the quantity of a substance in a mixture does not affect the overall properties of the mixture.”
