In this video, we'll go over how to determine if an ionic compound is soluble or insoluble in water. Soluble means aqueous (aq) and insoluble means solid (s). This is done using the solubility rules. We'll start with the rules and then do several problems & examples together.

Thank you for the explanation, explained easily and quickly, without the extra mind boggling explanations our teacher gives us she found out in Uni doing her doctorate

A few years late to the party but here we go, what if I don't have access to solubility rules in my supplied data booklet? I am taking a final exam soon and I'm not sure I can memorize all these solubility rules. Is there any easier way to remember all these like an acronym or a rule? Thank you anyone that sees this lol
