Not an omen main, but defo respect the omen mains, and all other controller mains. I feel like ppl really blame either sage or the controller when they're losing.

Quick little tip from one Omen main to many others:

You can fake your From the Shadows ultimate or your Shrouded Step teleport in 1v1 situations. For example, if it is a desperate round (say 11-12) and you are the last player alive, you can use these tricks to really confuse your enemies. I use this all the time, and it works almost every single time.

For From The Shadows, make sure the enemy player has seen you and tried to shoot you or throw utility at you. Next, pull out your From The Shadows ultimate and teleport across the map. This will create a sound queue from Omen saying “SCATTER!”, which will play on the enemy’s side. Then, immediately cancel and return to your previous location. This will cause the enemy to think you have teleported away and shift their attention somewhere else, which could net you a free kill.

For Shrouded Step, it’s a similar setup to From The Shadows, except you’re going to be teleporting in place. In a 1v1, make sure the enemy has seen you. Next, throw a smoke somewhere out in the open away from any chokeholds. Then, pull out your Shrouded Step and teleport either directly in place or a tiny bit behind you. This will create a sound queue that the enemy will hear, and they will think you have teleported into your own smoke. This can help you catch an enemy player off-guard.

If this worked for you or you have any questions, feel free to let me know! Good luck!

not to forget Omen ultimate covers the whole minimap in black smoke so using it to cover up enemy minimap with the location of a teammates util. So casting and cancelling just to cover for your teammates position is something worth trying on certain executes

6:40, throwing a slower blind is very useful, as the affect only goes away on a timer AFTER the omen blind isn't touching the enemy. So, this means a slower blind will be in contact with an enemy for longer and thus the blind affect will last longer.

Ive been omen main for a long time and i gotta admit there was plenty of good info in this video. Keep up the good work!

For the slow omen blind, it can actually be really useful for cc as it essentially lasts longer and puts more pressure on enemies. Woohoojin's omen on haven guide talks about it and take attacking c for example where you slow blind from cubby to logs which basically gives longer cc as it covers the area more. It can be used when enemies are pushing a site like behind the dice on ascent which also gives more cc and stalls enemies.

I'm an omen main and I didn't know how to use his ability's very well for a while then I watched some videos and I have gotten a lot better with him but this video was a lot more in depth then the other videos.

6:34 Omen blind when slower is slightly better on flash zones ( like c long haven or dice to main flash on ascent), woohoojin about to artillery strike that part of the video lol, when your flash travels slower the effective area control is longer even though the difference is less than 1 second, every min/max counts

The slow omen blind can be useful if you want it for yourself, as it gives time to peek(I have gotten kills with this method).

I did something similar to faking out of the killjoy radius. I was on the back of pearl B long (while defending) and the entire enemy team had rotated from A, through their spawn and started rushing me, so I ulted out, faked it and shot them all in the back👌

the slow omen blind is really good for crossfire points. For instance, going through the right entryway into B site on haven. You can blind the left/right side and quickly peak the other to get a pick, then retreat and repeak/whip around and get the other guy. It’s like putting one of the enemy’s on hold for a sec lol.

another tip for omen as an omen main
omen lurks : smokes from anywhere and setup teammates like said in video also free picks for people on the rotate and info
tp plays : this for the flashy and breaking neck plays alot of people dont pay attention to the audio queue of omen tp so this is the most high risk high reward play and it takes time to get to the point where in 5 seconds you can tell where they are and what tp would be just out of the frame of their screen
omen ult is very versitile: spike, info, fake, bait

As omen being my controller main I really do find myself using the teleport jiggle peak while jumping out if my own smoke to bait them

imo, Omen by far has the most hidden impact out of all agents, especially when it comes to mind games. id say even Yoru cant quite compete with Omen on that part, since Omen TPs are faster, more precise, and quieter. Combined with the rest of his kit, there's almost always a wide variety of plays available to an Omen player at any given moment.

also on the note of adjusting his blind speed, sometimes it *is* worth tossing a slow flash. the slower flash contests the area for longer, giving you and your team more time to work with it. for example, flashing logs from c cubby. a normal flash is already too quick to be able to capitalize on, and so calls for a slow flash.

as for my rules of thumb for playing Omen, they go as follows:
1. Be as unpredictable as possible. Repeated plays with Omen lose value fast. Besides, why make your opponents worried about 1 thing, when they could worry about more?
2. When in doubt, just send it. There's no going halfway with Omen, it's all or nothing. If you have a play in your head, go for it. Most of my best plays have been by committing to a play. Of course, they don't always go well. But as you do more, you'll get a better understanding of how to execute different plays on the fly.
3. Be creative with it. Think outside of the box. If you find a play that works well, add it to your repertoire. Take the time to take in the situation, and see what weaknesses you can capitalize on or even create yourself.

one other thing is that if you're pushing on like say sunset B main from attack, you can just use your smokes and put it ahead and teleport inside your smoke with the judge. any map really just been doing that there a lot

Slow blind is actually very useful, just more situational. It needs to be used in specific choke points where the enemy cannot escape it, open blinds should always be done quick. If done right in a hallway or specific choke point, the blind actually stays around for longer and thus the enemy’s paranoia lasts longer, giving you and your team more time to position and get the kills.

As an omen main my BEST advice is to use every trick like its the last time youll use it. If the enemy players are adaptable then re using some of these spots and such makes it obvious where your gonna be, BUT that also means they will expect you to use said spot which can really mess them up and make huge openings

The slow omen flash, can claim the space for more time because the threat of being flashed is still possible
