(NGSS) Science & Engineering Practices: Brainstorm and Sort | California Academy of Sciences

Integrating the Next Generation Science Standards into the classroom might seem a bit daunting to educators. Quell these fears with a Post-It Sort activity, in which participants become more familiar with the SEPs by building definitions of the Practices in their own words. Teachers will discover that the SEPs are not entirely new and foreign concepts, but map well onto what they already know about doing science.
