I was born in 86 and got an 86 4 trax when I was 13. I loved it! I could not kill that thing. Ran that thing as hard as I could, jumps that knocked the wind out of me. Rolled it. Towed with it. All but drowned it. The guy that had it before me rolled it off a pier into a lake. So yeah. Bullet proof. And fun as hell.

Love these old 350trx videos man.
Lots of videos with new toys.
Always good to see the old workhorses still in action.

I have a 1999 Artic Cat 500cc (Suzuki engine) 4x4. Just turned over 35k miles on it and it still starts and runs like day 1. I have put 2 sets of tires on it, change oil, gear oil and all filters every spring, run non-ethanol gas and have not had a single issue with it, ever. I use it often pulling trailers with cords of wood, hay, mulch, whatever, I use a toothpick plow on it for the garden and plow snow in the winter. I wouldn't trade it for any new ATV on the market.

Great Video! I bought one of those old Honda's brand new in 1986 for $2900, and in 2002 I purchased a Kawasaki 650 Prarie, and sold the Honda for $2800. That Honda 350 was the FIRST 4 wheel drive ATV on the market. I do welding and fabrication and made a Quick Connect attachment system for the Honda with 30 attachments including winch powered Log Lifter, Bucket Loader, Fork Lift, Snow Plow, Dump Body, and many more, and that good old Honda handled it! If I could post pictures here I would?😁

I’ve spent so much time on both of these machines and also the 300 fourtrax. Built like tanks and never break down. I have rolled them down mountains gotten back on and rode just fine. When u are deep into the woods a Honda is what u want. They won’t leave u stranded and they sip the fuel. That 420 rancher is honestly one of the best rigs you can buy and I’ve had many four wheelers and it’s just hard to all around beat a honda

A few years ago I used a buddy's Dad's old 87 Honda 350 quad on a Colorado elk hunting trip. It would go anywhere, but it took a lot of gymnastics to just stay on it!

My folks had the same model Honda back in 86. They traded it in on a 1988 yamaha big bear which I learned to ride . They Still have the old big bear and it is in great condition . I have a 2005 Honda 500 rubicon bought new. Runs great . Those old quads are not the most comfortable but very reliable even with age. I don’t believe my can an outlander will last 18 years .

I worked with a fella who would work on the pole building crew for cash I worked on when he was laid off from the iron workers' union. His nickname was "Scooter". I remember calling the boss asking when I should be at his house Monday morning. The boss told me to show up at 5am as usual and informed me that "Scooter" killed himself. I immediately asked why he killed himself. The boss stated: "Scooter rolled his four wheeler back on Himself". My boss at the time, was as cold hearted as can be. I couldn't believe his response. I went back to work without Scooter and learned a lesson. BTW, Scooter left behind a wife and 2 children. The cold hearted "Tough Man" Boss watched his own child die. A sad story, but young folks should be aware. Funny videos, but at what cost?

Our farm started with quads back in 96 with a trx300. We’ve had about 15 of them since then (keep about 3 on the farm all the time). Honestly, if we still had the trx300, I bet it’d be going strong. We use the heck out of them but we maintain them as suggested too. They changed our ranch forever

My family has had a 1986 Honda TRX250 and a 1986 Honda TRX 200sx since they came out. Awesome wheelers. Both have been and still go thru a lot of hard work 💪🏻 They have also carried tons and tons of deer out of the woods throughout the years. My father got the 250 sunk in a deep mud hole many years ago. Has always run like a dream lol.

my dad (RIP) had a red Honda Foreman for over 30 years (manual and no power steering) and the last I rode it (2018 or so) it was still kickin'. Beautiful. That said, we both still daydreamt about owning/riding a Grizzly

The old 350 was for sure the winner in my book. How do you find quads so cheap?

I love the rancher quads, 400 is a nice in-between of utility and sport being how light it is compared to most utility's.

Pretty sure those old Honda 4 wheelers are invincible. I’ve got a 1994 now that runs like a top. When I was a kid, my grandfather had a 2000 250ESP. Pretty sure the oil never got changed or added to it so it ran without oil for quite a while. Dropped it off at the shop because it was making a funny noise and it turned out everything was shot in the motor (shocking I know). I drove it into and out of my truck to drop it off….

Those 80s/90s honda fourtrax 350s were absolute workhorses.
