Hi great video thanks. My sons steering works one way but very limited in the other direction. Is this likely to be the connecting rods? Saw another video that says to bend the rod to give more steering, is this correct? TIA

Thank you for sharing the troubleshooting steps. I checked my power out of the controller and it is 12.2V without pressing the pedal. Is that an indication of a controller gone bad?

I originally thought motors were bad and replaced them but still not powering the motors.

I checked voltage at the the motor connect and it read .1V. Could the cable be fried?

super useful. I am facing this weird issue where the wheels move just fine (both directions) WITHOUT load, but it refuses to move when my 35lb son sits in it. I checked the battery and it seems fine (measured 13V right after full charge). Could this be a weak motor?

Thank you for your videos. They’ve been the easiest to follow and most informative that I’ve found. I’m confused about the difference between the control board and the ESC. Idk if I fried the motors or control board on my sons PW Brute Force. But it ran hard on 18V Ryobi for nearly 4 months before it stopped working.
Any advice on new parts and how to wire the control board and ESC would be most helpful!

Super detailed and great video. We got our son a 24v truck and fairly soon after it started getting stuck gear and the only way to stop it from running into everything is to put it in park or power it off completely before running into something. Sometimes it’ll start out just fine but a few minutes in he can’t even drive it anymore because I’m worried he’ll get hurt 🤦‍♀️ or hurt something else. Any suggestions?

Can you suggest any reasons why a cars rear wheels want to propel the car forward but the front wheels want to fight them going on reverse?? Brand new worked fine with remote when tested. Sat for a month then when tested Aydin the from wheels are fighting the rear so car goes nowhere. Unplugged the front wheel harness and if course the car goes forward using just the 2 rear motors.. 4-wheel drive

Hi great video. I have just bought a used car which has same board and remote. The remote allows the car to move forwards/reverse but doesn't steer at all. I took out the steering motor and hooked to the battery directly and it turns fine. Is it likely to be a faulty board? Thanks!

I added a second 12v 7ah battery in sequence for longer run time which worked and would run for about an hour with some charge to spare. I then replaced both motors with 30, 000 rpm (originally 10, 000 rpm). it worked at first then started to cut out under load now it wont turn on at all. any suggestions please I would be very grateful.

Thanks for video, I replaced 12v board to 24 and it works very well but remote control not responding, should I purchase white remote controller with 24v board or what?

Hi, thanks for the helpful video. I hooked up a 20 volt drill battery,
worked great for about 10 min. Now it won’t turn on, so ordered the control panel/ receiver. Could it also maybe be the on off control panel JR1927M-12V?

If I did want to continue using the 20 v drill battery would you recommend using the 24V on off control panel with the 24V control panel/ receiver?

I have two brand new batteries. I tested the control module and was able to get a reading of 9 volts to the motors. Should that be 12 volts? The car turns on but is so sluggish and eventually shakes to a stop. The batteries have a full charge.

I have a 6v audi q5. Power comes on, all accessories work, and battery meter is full. When we press the accelerator, there is a click and all power is lost. Any suggestions?

Thank you for this! I recently bought a thrifted Moderno Kids Jeep, it's showing 9.5 volts when fully charged on the front screen. It moves forward the first 2 minutes and then it stops. Should I buy a new battery? Can I buy a replacement for the missing remote control too? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for posting this, we apparently have an identical issue, so this must be a common fault. Next stop ebay for a replacement and hopefully lots of points from my grandkids!!!
I have a remote that has been working up until this issue, if I get the new control board, will there be an issue with the pairing to the old remote?

Upgraded my sons 12v to 18v Milwaukee power and it worked perfect for the first day but now won’t move. When the switch is turned on the battery level indicator on the dash still reads full. Did I burn out the control board?
