Do The Main Hazbin Hotel Cast Represent the 7 Deadly Sins?

Recently fans have been discussing a theory that each of the 7 main cast members of hazbin hotel represent the 7 deadly sins. I’ll break it down.

Charlie represents pride because she’s so engulfed by her dreams she can’t realise the infeasibility of it, a bit like her father.

Angel dust represents lust because he’s an adult film star.

Alastor represents gluttony because of his cannibalism.

Vaggie represents wrath because of her anger and short temper.

Nifty could represent envy because she’s got a dark history.

Husk is sloth obviously because he’s a lazy alcoholic gambler.

And lastly is sir pentious who represents greed because he’s obsessed with gaining power and becoming an overlord.

I think this theory is really interesting. We’ve already seen the actual seven deadly sins in helluva boss, so perhaps during the series we’ll see the main cast overcome their traits.

Pride: Charlie
Wrath: Vaggie
Sloth: sir Pentious
Lust: Angel
Gluttony: Alaastor
Greed: Husk (gambling addict)
Envy: Nifty

It's a very interesting theory. I always thought that there were only 6 main characters in this show. I never thought that Sir Pentious would be the main character, making a total of 7 people.

This post is really old but if we looked at it at the present day, you could argue that Baxter could also represent greed due to him wanting to be a famous scientist, thus replacing Sir Pentious. It's honestly great to see the writers still going along with this theory in the new season!

Maybe this theory might be prove to be true when the show releases. I'm bit unsure about this theory, because it could go either way, you could also swap The Sins for each cast member if wanted to if you looked into it deeply.
