I have noticed that over the past few years the maintenance of attractions has gone down. Hopefully a change will come. What are we paying such high prices for tickets if they can’t maintain the parks. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year.

Walt Disney the man took very special pride in the cleanliness of his park, often picking trash up off the Disneyland grounds himself, with his own two hands. Just saying.

We went to Disney world a couple of years ago. So many of the attractions were tired and dirty. They need to start investing a bit more in the experience.

Well what can you expect? They clearly don't have enough money to maintain proper maintenance. They need to raise ticket prices.

Last time we went to Disney there was trash along the sides of the line path against of the walls on Small World. I do understand this is the result of thoughtless guests, but I could I swear there were trash cans nearby, but I may be wrong.

It was trashy in 86! Ceiling tiles were falling off, animatronic failures everywhere. They refurbished it, but that was a long time ago. Apparently, letting their most beloved rides fall into disrepair is a reoccurring theme for them.

I was just there as well - there was garbage in the water, and it was obvious the garbage was there for some time due to its decay and bottles on the bottom of the water.

Maybe if they didn’t spend an ungodly amount of money on a star wars hotel that wasn’t even open for 2 years…

Anaheim at least cleans their rides out, they even take in animatronics for refurbishing and to fix them before going back into the ride for their next show. Disney World though has broken ones and hardly fix them and now the boats are starting to turn a different shade.

It happened when they outsourced their maintenance. It used to be second to none when they hired locally. I guess they don’t like paying people what they’re worth.

Good news: I went there a few days ago and the boats were still black but all the dolls that were missing were replaced with ones that fit into todays society (wheelchairs, hearing aids, ect.)

FYI they are not keeping up on the maintenance for the boats for a reason ! In a year or so they are going to take them out and make it a walk-through attraction. Sorry to spoil it for you.

Yes, I have noticed Disney has neglected the maintenance of the rides. I went for Christmas and was disappointed, the cast members grouchy and all the ride we got on had technical issues. The happy experience is not there anymore. Disney has really neglected the parks.

Last time I went, in the carnival part of the small world ride the ferris wheel along with anything attached to it was dead, honestly that ride is so old that they might have to shut it down for a while to refurbish it and maybe make it so that stuff doesn’t just shut down at any given time, other than that I would rate it 4.5 stars, it’s nostalgic and creepy (in a good way), but it’s really old, honestly the only thing stopping them from shutting it down is nostalgia
