We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Want to grab some great gear? We have used Osprey Packs for years & swear by them. Check them out here

Need some clothing for your next adventure? Patagonia has some pretty good stuff for all kinds of travelers.

Russia is a beautiful country. 2 times was in Moscow, 1 in-St. Petersburg. Beautiful city. Magnificent architecture and history. People are kind. The prices are cheap, very good shopping. Food, beer, wine, vodka! - 5 times cheaper than Rome and very tasty. With respect from Italy.

Russia is expensive? I ordered so much food and beer at this hotel and barely spent over $30.00. Russia is NOT expensive, In fact Russia is great because it's like going to Europe without paying European prices.

Went to Moscow last year solo. I got lost for hours miles away from the city. 3am I'm still walking. A group of 3 young men came up to me and started talking at me. I couldn't understand a word. I was petrified. One took out his phone and made a call. 2 mins later a car pulled up. I was shaking. 3 am in the middle of no where. A woman got out of the car and spoke English. I nearly fainted with relief. The guys were her brothers and they were worried about me. They took me to their home fed me food and vodka. After a few hours sleep they drove me back to my hotel which was actually 2 hours away by car. I'll never forget that. Their Kindness and common sense saved me that night.

It's interesting to listen about my country from foreigners, because some things are trivial and routine for us and we don't suppose that they might be weird) thank you🤗

Mark, if you think getting a Russian visa is difficult, you should try getting an American visa! (Imagine that you're not American, lol)

Did you know that Norway and North Korea are separated by just one country?

Про визы мне особо понравилось. Особенно подобное прикольно слушать от граждан стран, куда документы за пол года собирать надо, а тебе ещё и пинка без объяснения дать могут.

OMG. At 7:15 guy complaints on Russian traffic safety, but his lady with child crosses the pedestrian crosswalk on Red light! Come on, yes, it's extremelly unsafe to go on red light in any country!

If you want to impress Russians be one of the few foreigners who say babushka correctly. The stress is on the first syllable not the second. It's BA-bushka not ba-BUSHka. I blame Kate Bush's song.

Russians as a people are lovable and and warm people. Their society is not so much. Russians has a huge history and culture. I'm friend of Russians. Greeting from the neighborhood, from Finland.

I would add another 'shock', which is how dang efficient, fast and beautiful are the metros in Moscow and St Petersburg. Missed the last train? No biggee. In two minutes there will be another one. And many of the stations are like palaces. It is precisely shocking, at least for an American.

Я бы не сказала, что ситуация с карманниками критическая, за всю жизнь здесь ни разу не обокрали, хотя, мб, туристы подвергаются большей опасности.

Russia is expensive? Russia is dirt cheap compared to most EU countries.
And in my experience, service is super nice there.

Went to St. Petersburg last September. The food was great, the service was quite good! So impressed by the churches and the palaces. Loved, loved, loved the Volga River ride and the Hermitage. Everyone was nice and helpful!

Dude! 7:15, your wife is crossing the road WITH KID on red light as you speak about drivers aiming into pedestrians. I mean, cmon!

For point #1. Americans are used to a lot of fake smiles and fake friendliness - whatever you may think of it. The cashier asks you if you found everything alright, your waitress will smile at you etc. Eastern Europeans do not engage in such shallow gestures. As an American I find it quite refreshing.
