Yeah, I don't know why I was rushing to install this over Windows 10. I'm just waiting until the official release. It's not too far away.

Thank you this worked at first. However for some reason my start menu and taskbar stated to have the same problem as before, not working and taskbar is blank. and the command is not working a second time. It comes up "Error The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value." Is there a reason for this, and how do i fix it. Thanks.

I feel like its worth noting somewhere in here that this works for some, but not for others and may not be a permanent fix. Depends on what you have for startup apps, your build configuration, whether or not you shutdown your pc every day. Also might be worth noting that you should always back up anything you are about to delete from your registry before listening to someone on YouTube, no matter how good their intentions may be. At the end of the day, they are a complete stranger. So back up that registry key before deletion. Furthermore, after you have backed up your registry key, you can also eliminate the "/f && shutdown -r -t 0" portion of the CMD if you would like to be able to enter a response to your request such as Y/N and then see a confirmation that "the operation has completed successfully" and then you can run the "shutdown -r -t 0" - after your system comes back up go ahead and navigate to that registry key to confirm that its gone.

Thanks it worked. I'm using Windows Insider build. I updated this morning (March 16, 2022), my task manager is gone. Thanks again for the help. I was afraid to try it at first since it includes reg delete. Good thing it worked. Thanks again.
