To say Ireland "was a very odd place in the 1950s" is not in the least an exaggeration! I was born in 1939 and grew up in the decade of the 1950s..

Why call the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 "Southern Ireland " it is a persistent term used by some in the UK Donegal in particular Malin Head is further North than any point in the UK any a border poll in the near future is required under the yerms of GFA not on yhe whim of some Tory/ Unionist Government and hopefully present one will gone sooner than later! Leave the comments no censorship!!!!
