I was absolutely mind-blown when I discovered this rental car company that allows you to retrieve and unlock your rental car just through your phone - Virtuo rental cars is the future of rental cars!

Join me in this travel vlog as I make my way from Austria after the 2023 Austrian GP at the Red Bull ring to France where my wife will be joining me before we make our way to the UK for the 2023 British GP in Silverstone. On this journey I opted to fly on Air France which surprised me and I think it is a serious contender for the best European Airline. Everything from the lounge, the staff and the plane itself was great!

The kicker is that you flew BA in FIRST CLASS! They are supposed to treat those bags like gold and make sure they come out first, and they treated it like steerage on the Titanic! Good to see you and the family are all having a good trip otherwise.

Very cool! Just returned home to the US after nearly two weeks in France. Looks like we were on the opposite end of Paris up near Gare de l’Est. Made my first ever visit to Monaco and walked the path of the race circuit, something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time! Didn’t do any of your high dollar meal or hotel recommendations from your video a month or so ago! 😂

I walked the Champs Elysees Thursday night and the only indications anything had happened was two crews that appeared to be finishing glass replacement in two stores. Finally, I don’t get the warm fuzzies about BA. I’ve flown AF multiple times and had great experiences, including RT this time in business from ATL to CDG and back. I heartily recommend AF.

The Silverstone GP will be over by the time you see this but it looked to me to be a real cracker of a race. A lot of cars in non-normal place to start. The Virtuo rental concept is also available here in Malaysia from a couple of years ago. But over here the keys to the car are on the rental apps, no dowloads necessary.

Kym, I hope you take the little time to formally demand compensation from BA.
- x days without your luggage
- the inconvenience of having to go collect it yourself at the 'last-mile' airport
- the lack of proper customer support (to put it gently)

I have just used Uber car share in the Goldcoast a week ago. Same concept and worked a treat. I agree, the days of traditional hire companies are coming to an end.

Sweden is full of these kind of car rentals, very clever. I drive new Volvo's all the time through Volvo On Demand, another one called Kinto has Toyota. Obviously go with Volvo every time.

it sis also available in Australia. the company used to be called car next door, now it's called Uber car share.

Great content as always. Next time I am traveling in Europe I will try Virtuo. Sadly it is not available in the US. We do have Turo which is more like AirBnB for a car and you rent from an individual owner.

You'll need to try Turo the next time you're in the States. It's like Virtuo but seems easier based on my usage of it on a few occasions
