How to Upload Custom Sound Effect to the Discord Soundboard - Tutorial

Quick guide on how to upload your very own custom sounds/sound effects to the new Discord Soundboard. The main requirement to upload a sound file to Discord Soundboard is that its under 5 seconds, its no larger than 512 KB in size, and is an MP3. Once you have a sound file ready, you can either go to the soundboard directly and click "Add Sound" or go to the Soundboard section of your server settings. Then select the Upload options.

For some reason after i choose an MP4 file it will not let me upload it

My sounds have this weird buzzing noise to it, is there a way to fix this..? I've tried download different mp3 converters and in the preview sounds good, but when I play it after creating the sound effect it becomes distorted. Curious if anyone else has any ideas to fix it.
