Alcohol and drugs from age of 8 to 65. I’m now 5 years sober. I admire anyone who takes on any addiction, like this young lady. 👍🏼

Shes willing to show people how weak addiction made her to deter others from ending up the same. Shes a legend. Mad respect.

I'm so proud of anyone detoxing or in recovery. I'm proud of anyone who is even thinking of quitting. I have been sober for 5 months now. ❤

8 years sober from alcohol now. It took me a month before I could write/sign my name again. It took another month to be able to drink a glass of water and not spill it on myself. She has a ways to go, but I am proud of her for starting this journey. God bless you!

One year sober. My mom died from it. My dad became a recluse from it. I feel amazing, and I'm ready to keep living free from alcohol. Bless this young lady and her spirit to live again!

It's amazing how normalized 'alcohol' is and it's even more amazing that nobody seems to realize just how devastating it can be. Keep up the great work Heather! God Bless You!

Keep going! 1 day without alcohol is a miracle for someone who suffers from alcoholism. 5 days is amazing. It WILL get better.

Got 8 years now. I would have been dead if I hadn't gotten clean. Saved 3 people in my last year using, lost my brother to overdose and almost died to an overdose myself. My whole world has gotten so much better since I gave that life up. You're stronger than you might believe. You have people in your life that will reach that hand out to help you when you need it. You've got this girl!

My younger brother passed away last night. He was a lifelong Alcoholic and homeless, he was diagnosed with mouth cancer less than 2 months ago. He had a terrible life. I miss and love you Tom, may you rest easy in Gods loving warmth. God bless and keep you.

5 years sober after 30 years of alcoholism. Please please please stay strong. I’m am dying from late stage cirrhosis at 47 years old. Day 5 is amazing! Every day ahead is another milestone. I am so incredibly proud of you for deciding that you can do this and proud of you for taking these first steps. They will be the hardest but the day you wake up and don’t even realize your first thought wasn’t I need a drink, you can look back at that beautiful woman in the mirror and know you’re going to make it.

It's incredible to see this. Addiction is the worst situation anyone can be in. I'm an alcoholic and consume over 60 units a day, my wife is gone, my house is gone, I'm ruined by depression, etc. I will continue to fight my way out of this hell and pray for a solution. I've heard of many people breaking free and becoming the best version of themselves through different natural methods, and I hope to find a better way out. I'm dying daily with these disasters in life. I really need help. I can't keep living like this.

Congratulations on day five and moving forward. Seven and 1/2 years sober for me and I look forward to every morning without a headache, dehydration, and money in my pocket. One day at a time. You’ve got this!!!

I did a 5 day medical detox in hospital. Last month I celebrated 10 years and not a drop. You can do it Heather. A lot of people you don't know are sending love and support. Don't give up!!❤😊

Just started my journey. I’ve drank pretty heavy for 8 years but after two weeks I haven’t had any signs of withdrawals. God bless this lady for being brave and posting this… it’s so hard to quit.
