I'm a newbie in minis painting, I've been painting for about 50 hours for the moment and I almost cried seeing your others videos because I've such a bad level.
This beginnings videos make me feel more confident because you explain everything from the very bottom and this helps a lot.
The interview with the pro-painters gives also a good encouragement.
Thanks for your work of quality, your videos, the explanations which you give well, the jokes, the music, it's a real pleasure to watch you.
Thank you from Switzerland :)

There's a serious chance that you won't see this. However, I've been watching your videos for a week now and they have absolutely been so helpful.
I used to paint minis many years ago. I was about eleven. I grew up in a pretty tumultuous household and being able to focus on a tiny character and slowly bring it to life calmed and centered me. Now, about thirty years later, the anxiety is back and so are the minis. Thanks for everything Scott.

I just started painting and collecting warhammer first time in like 18 years so I started from nothing. I watched about 20 hours of YouTube tutorials when I figured out this is what I’m going to do. Got a decent understanding of some basic techniques. Went to games workshop I bought a 13 citadel paint starter kit talked to the guy working for about an hour and ended up buying what I thought was the coolest looking start collecting box, went home boom. Now I love warhammer I’m a 32 year old man who thinks about getting home from work all day to paint tiny plastic space marines. The only thing I regret is stopping when I did 20 or so years ago, I highly recommend this hobby to anyone if you’re thinking about It, just go out get some basic paints and games workshop will even give you a free space marine on a sprue to paint
And see if you like it, do that Atleast. This is a wonderful hobby and I think everyone should try it. And I must add, some of the kindest most genuine people of any hobby, sport, extra curricular thing I’ve ever done in my life it’s been such a great time for me

Over the past 2 days I have been looking at lots and lots of miniature painting videos (for my Napoleanics) and I have to say, this is the best series by far. Excellent job, and thank you!

Hey SDub! Thanks for picking my submission for your video! I have been a subscriber since I saw you on reddit, like your 3rd video or so. Your videos always energize me to get back in and paint! I thought I would share something I had been working on since watching your videos. Keep up the great work, and again thanks for picking my coven throne.

Can you please do a tutorial on painting clear parts of miniatures to give them that glowing effect?

I like the classical ending where he does not scream it ...
It is so rude to fall asleep to youtube videos and wake up to that scream

1:15 about add some water to the paint...this makes you need to add more layers until getting a solid color in your mini, right?

Yet another thing I've been screwing up for years.  I always applied thin paint all over my brush.  I'm going to try only applying paint to the lower half of my brush.... like tonight.  Thanks Miniac.  Great work

Miniac I'm very new to miniature painting less then a year. I've done a few Reaper bones, but this past week I started my Frist Games Workshop kit . I started with the Deamons of Nurgle starter set. I'm really enjoying these . I have fun your channel stupidly helpful. I really like how you present your information and the the silliness you have . I want to learn. I want to be better . I find you easier to follow due to your attitude. To many PERFECT PRO PAINTERS sharing their work as if they are the best of the best is boring to me and I lose interest in following, but with you and your silliness your helpful not perfect approach is awesome. Thank you for your help and information. Mini.

Thank you for teaching me how to make green. I assumed it only occurred when two green paints had a lil thang.

Thanks for the helpful video! I'm about to paint my first minis from Gloomhaven, and I'll use your advice and tips to become acquainted with the tools and paint before I start on a mini

I remember fucking up my large layer brush by covering it in paint and ruining it's bottom.
In less than 6 months my minis and painting methods have improved ten fold just from watching tutorials like this and being a bit more careful with how I paint.

Still cant layer to save my life though.
