Creating a base of value equating that of real life entities is essentially emulating biology because biology equates all sorts of thing together to develop, meditate on and perceive sensation so it's a pseudobiological substrate in cyber form. I hadn't given that thought as much as artificial sentience but going by the blockchain food production the computer involved would have to eventually keep advancing itself while the artificial life hacks into it both in hardware and software or otherwise the lifeform would consume the computer for food and there's a more fuller integration of cyber and the real world. The organism could use the computer as an intestine rather than eat it whole and rescan and resense the exact transistor activity and energy signatures as a means of sensation and even pleasure.
