All these people wanting to bag out Tom Cruise because he's 5'7" (170cm). I knew an ex Australian Army unarmed combat instructor who was only 175cm and he was the most fearless man I met in 40 years (also my best mate) he could have these monster's on their knees tapping the floor for mercy in seconds. It's knowledge and ticker that determines a person's ability, and this guy had it in spades. In his mid 80's he decided he was going to bust out of hospital, against Doctors orders, and go home. It took six Pacific Islander security guards to subdue him and get him back to his room on a gurney, after he had floored a couple of them first. He's gone now and I will forever be in his debt, as a mentor and a friend. Floyd Mayweather 173cm, Connor McGregor 175cm, Mike Tyson 178cm ? Tell them they must be big to be a good fighter 😂

I’m not a fan of Tom cruise but he is a hell of a actor. Hats off to the man who does his own work

After watching Alan Ritchson's Reacher, I now made a story in my head that this Reacher is just also a badass 3rd cousin of Alan Ritchson's Reacher. lol

Being a badass has little to do with height. Cruise is a real life badass. No other actor would even try to pull off the stunts he does and his acting and fight scenes are many times better than Ritchson’s.

Lucky for Jack Reacher, Sheriff Raymond Wood upon realizing he was about to be arrested for human trafficking and likely sent to jail for the rest of his life, didn't take out his gun and kill Reacher before committing suicide. But if that happened, the rest of the movie couldn't happen. lol

I've read nearly all Reacher books and when they bought out the film I was prepared to watch it but when I found out Tom Cruise was playing him made me decide against it

I like Cruz in his MI movies but he is 5'6" . I'm fan of the Reacher series of books in which the title role is a 6 foot 5 inch 250 pound man. I find it hard to believe the fight scenes with such a small man.
