First learned about Sargon in my college world history class, and later in my archaeology class at U of M (Go Blue!).
What a guy, shame he was better at conquering than he was ruling. Perhaps his line wouldn't have died out so quickly if he was a better ruler. History Channel needs to invest into some more shows like Vikings but focus on other parts of history like Mesopotamia.
