2015 Acura TLX V6 0 to 60 time TLX V6 AWD 0-60 times was recorded for demonstration purposes in Colorado state(Mile high above the sea level for consideration). This is real time for Acura TLX V6 AWD with all packages possible for the car from a dealer. This my daily car and I like it but shared real 0-60 mph times without cheating. Keep in mind this is average scores for an average driver. we live in high elevation (mile above sea level), so keep this as a argument that time 0-60 could be improved on Acura TLX V6 in the states or countries that on the same level as ocean. I would say about 1 second faster. I used premium consumer gas too.

Keep in mind that I tested it in Denver, Colorado. Lowest is 5.8 second 0-60 but due to Colorado elevation(1 mile elevation above the sea level) I did it in second above that average. As again car was stock on the stock tires from Acura dealer.

Pretty darn good for a mile above sea level!

The TLX is faster than its numbers because even though its 0-60 isn't great (about 5.5 seconds at sea level), it's because it doesn't launch very well. It doesn't have launch control or anything like that. Also the stock tires (eagle ls2) are trash so that doesn't help of course. Other niceties are surprisingly good fuel mileage for a 3.5L V6, very good overall comfort and quietness, the AWD and the torque vectoring really works well. One of the big downsides are the brakes (along with the tires), they are not very powerful and mushy pedal. The transmission isn't fantastic either, slow shifts and sometimes a bit jerky. The power delivery is very extremely smooth, the chassis and drive feel give you good control and feedback. I really like this V6, Overall a very underrated car I would say, plagued by a bad transmission. It's also a bit of everything... It's smooth but not as smooth as a Lexus ES. It's fast-ish but not as fast as a BMW. It's well built but the materials are not at all on the level of a German car or a Lexus. But it's quite affordable. It's a fantastic compromise for its price. I just liked it, liked driving it, and my 2 year ownership of a 2018 TLX was a happy one, I only sold it because I needed more cargo, and the transmission was starting to act up a bit (got scared of some serious problems down the line).

Manual shifting is pointless. It still shifts automatically once you red line it. Only difference is that you can hold that gear right before the red line.

Great car wish they made it quicker but honestly quick enough- also have a care free reliable sports sedan - as a 2011 335 owner I like the tlx as a option for long term hasselnfree ownership

Isn't premium unleaded recommended for this car? and you only put regular... why?

Thanks, I have this same car and found similar results at a similar altitude. The tires are such crap, can't believe they put that on from the factory.

Is it worth buying a Acura tlx with 140, 000 miles on it for $12, 000?

I do not blame you. But someone needs to be held accountable. So many people not getting off of the line right. It is like being a sprinter and starting a race in a relaxed and upright position. Meanwhile, the others are primed and ready to go via their starting blocks. In short, push and hold down your brake while also giving it some steady gas.

it doesnt even matter if ur in denver at altitude theres no turbo to lag...its a 3.5l awd and if you did your research ud see that the new honda accord sport 2.0t was smoking everything it raced against including the wrx which u said was beating your car...i think you need to lay off the crack buddy its not a race car its a awd sedan😂😂

So you are telling me that my 2017 accord touring V6 6 speed auto sedan can go 5.6 seconds 0 to 60, faster than an Acura TLX with more HP, AWD and 3 more gears 😅 this is weird and crazy 😅😅

You have to shift better or get better tires. You should be under 6 seconds
