I was born and raised there. My parents too. There were 3 hospitals. St. Joseph's, Copley and St. Charles.

Before this became affordable living for seniors this used to be a nursing home.. Also a place with people with disabilities that were not old in fact I was like early 30s. This place was severely haunted there were 6 floors being 5 of the 6 were operating floors as the 6th floor was abandoned, I would hear things at night when I lived on the 5th floor.. also one night I went to go to the vending machines floor and on the way up the elevator decides to skip 5 and go to 6 where I got off on that floor there were real old Toleo scales in one room a locked stairway leading to something and there was a sealed door no one could get into as if they were hiding something there .. This place has a very dark secret and past if you all do your research you will also find out as well .. There is a lot of negative energy here as well .

The Place was called St.Charles Hospital on New York Ave

Al Capone and his gang used to hang out in Aurora a lot. They even had tunnels under certain houses, so when the police tried to arrest them in one house, they hid in the tunnel and came out a few houses away-- where they could make their getaway unnoticed. I live in Aurora, and some of the people here say they still have the access doors to the tunnels in their homes.

I've been a haunter at Basement of the Dead for going on 7 years. I've heard from other actors that our doll room is haunted. I've only had minor experiences like I've seen the LED lights from our security camera go out and then go back on or we had fake candles in a hallway, at one pont i saw at least one flicker and then go off and come back on. It really doesn't scare me. If anything, I'd just acknowledge them if i saw anything. The building that it's in is over 100 years old.

I believe in the 70s there used to be a hippy bar in the basement called The Lottery. There was also a small head shop on the street side called Earwax. Those were the days.

The star building is creepy at night, a friend of mine lived there from 2014 -2016 and it was always extremely erie walking up to their apartment, and no window screens on the 13th floor, definitely gave a bad vibe.
