In case you haven’t met me, my name is Natali Edmonds and I am a board certified geropsychologist. That means that I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with older adults. One day, while hiking a trail, I came up with the idea for Careblazers and I decided to see if posting videos online could provide help to the many other Careblazers in the world who don’t get to have help come directly to them in their homes. I hope that this work helps you in some way on your caregiving journey.

Your YouTube videos are a great sauce of information especially 3 o’clock in the morning when I can’t sleep 😊❤

Yes, throwing tissue on the floor is wasteful. But clomping around in tissue box shoes is pretty darn funny. Humor keeps me going. 😟 🙁 😏 😂

I love and share all your videos with my husbands family. Sometimes it is hard for the extended family to get involved when the primary caregiver doesn't want the help.
I have just done and not asked and this seems to have helped her. I just want to be able to do more and feel helpless at times.😥

You are 100 percent correct!!!! My husband’s PCP very brief answers to my questions but kept wanting to write more prescriptions!!! And was not happy when I would challenge!!! The answer is not more medicine!!!So I found you and you have been a life saver, Thank You!!! I have also found that medical marijuana gummies ( just half) help to calm him and now he sleeps all night!!! All your suggestions have worked for us❤️❤️❤️

Made me realize we have a great PCP. Always has time for us. Answers questions directly on phone without charging a fee. Helps so much! Agree other sources are helpful and needed.

Dr. Natali, As usual, you are giving great information. You are right about needing more information than what you get from your PCP. Your You Tube videos and Careblazers Program have been wonderful trustworthy sources for me to continue learning about Dementia and caregiving. Thank you!

I appreciate that you talk fast to impart as much information as you do in a relative short amount of time.

I ♡ the detective approach. It feels like fresh new tool. Yet, the loss of words and the very slow pace mlo operates on might make understanding his perspective additional challenging.

Hey Doc! -#3 hits home for me. I found myself more frustrated after Moms Dr Appt because I never got anything to more forward … he was very removed and non attentive with me present- made me wonder how he was w Mom when she went But Careblazer Courses and groups have been my GodSend to prayers … and a few other people. I DO AGREE - following TOO MANY on YouTube can be adding to confusion- so that is something to keep in mind. Thanks for all you do❤

Excellent information, the curiosity part is up to a point what I have been doing but didn't realise it . Sadly the care staff very often say my loved one is having a bad day but I want to know why is she having a bad day today. I try and stay as positive and upbeat during every visit . I hope that's the case when the care staff try and get compliance for hygiene ect .
