Yes! I am replacing all my old bass rods a little at a time. Ugly stick carbon with the revo sx. I also just replaced my 2 catfish rod and reels with the 7 foot med hev gx2's and Garcia 6600 stx. Wish they made a 7 foot med action 2 piece for a truck rod! Lol.

*Amazing pole This thing is strong, has a good feel to it, and doesn't break the bank. I like standard uglystick poles but they are a very soft feel. This pole has the feeling of an all graphite pole but with the strength of an ugly stick. Good all around pole in my opinion.*

I’ve absolutely beat the hell out of mine and its still going ive fallen on it twice and im a big guy ive scooted my chair back and it bent all the way to almost a c and ive dropped it plenty times its my most favorite rod and ive caught hundreds of fish on it seven foot medium and its still going strong

I have this carbon 7.3 ft for pier fishing. It's not comfortable at all. And it doesn't cast far compared to others pole the same size. And the sensitivity for jigging is pretty minimal. You can barely tell if sand or Coral or anything it's pretty mute. Balance wise is top heavy

21 century technology... Still just a rod and reel... I like it because it's light not balanced the best but seems good for what it is

Ugly Stik rods are fantastic. But they continue to fail on there guide spacing. They need more guides.
