Im good with a gx2 7' medium action a penn battle 3 2500 and 12 lb stren magnathin its landed sooo many good sized trout here in Colorado with ease...

I have an Ugly Stik Elite and love it but was looking at the carbon rod - thanks I'm gonna buy a smaller Elite and save $40

The carbons way more sensitive and sets hooks stifley better, the elite is a softer tip with more backbone and a can set the hook great but diferently but for live bait its the best.
