In this video: Ugly Stik Carbon First impression I take an in depth look at my new Ugly stick Carbon Casting Rod and this Ugly Stick raises the bar for Ugly Stik both in price and quality. The improvements made to this Ugly Stik casting combo are well worth the extra cost and I will be buying more of these in the future. I swear by Ugly Stik products and this fishing rod renews my confidence in the brand. When your buying a fishing rod I suggest you take a look at this Ugly Stik casting combo

Bought my first ugly stik in 1996, and I'm still fishing with it. Looks practically good as new in 2023.

I use it for inshore saltwater fishing. The rod is amazing. I use the 7’3 medium for my spoons. Holds up on them redfish perfect! 10/10 would recommend.

I just picked up the 7’3’ MedFast spinning and already can’t wait to throw it out for some smallies and largies, I can already tell that I’m going to enjoy it and just might get the casting rod as well. Awesome review by the way, subbed.

Recently I got an Ugly Stik Carbon Inshore, 7' medium action fast tip. It's sweet. The sensitivity blows my GX2's out of the water, it's way lighter and casts farther. It's probably not as good for live bait but for jigs and stuff that I usually use it's perfect. I don't love the baby blue color but it's okay.
Now I want a graphite rod for my baitcaster. One of those red ones might be a good choice.

Man. I remember going fishing every other day with my pops. I had a little 5 foot ultralight ugly stick with a cheap pfluger reel. I remember my first fish it was a 2lb bass fishing for bluegills.

This rod is incredible. And it looks sexy!
I’ve had it for about a year already and pulled in 5lb bass on the regular WITHOUT issue.
(Anything above 5lbs starts to get questionable to me).

I abuse the crap out of stuff trust me, and I haven’t lost an eyelet, I haven’t had any issues with grip or anything like that.

I love it. I got it in the combo with the BlackMax reel which is decent to start off.. 4 bearing, cheap plastic reel.
I suggest a LewsAmericanHero, 7 bearing reel. Same price point and extremely better.

Good luck guys 🔥😈
Go burn em! 🎣🔥

Its a very uncortable rod. They didnt put soft foam or soft material to hold the handle so long term use hand gets uncomfortable. Not that light compared to elite series minus the lack of comfort makes elite the better rod for long term use. Also not that light compared to elite either.
