His opponents flooded social media with images of burning buildings in the state’s largest city of Minneapolis in the wake of the 2020 murder of George Floyd.

Now, a city that’s long been overshadowed by more bustling neighbors to the east including Chicago, is under scrutiny for its struggles to overcome the lingering effects of the pandemic and upheaval from riots and crime — challenges that overshadow Minnesota’s otherwise strong economic performance under Walz.

Minneapolis’s population remains stuck below pre-Covid levels — while downtown vacancy rates have surged to 24.7%, the highest since the late 1980s, data from real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield shows. Target Corp., one of the city’s largest employers, only requires staff to be in the office one week every quarter. Not even government workers are fully back, hindering the downtown’s recovery.

This was his question to Tim Walz. He said that because despite Tim being in the army natiional guard for 24 years, he never actually served in a combat zone. Good question.

My answer: Wait JD, when were you ever in a combat situation? You were in the marines for four years (20 less years of service than Walz) and you were sent to Iraq for four months. Did you actually see combat in those four months?

Spoiler alert. HE DIDN'T. JD Vance was sent there as a war correspondant. He never carried a gun, never served in a combat situation and had the nerve to try to denigrate Walz for this same perceived "failing."

Let me repeat Vance attacked Walz for never having gone to combat yet Vance, as a kind if military journalist never so much as carried a gun in a combat situation his entire life. He was a journalist taking pictures after the fights were finished!

Sad and pathetic to try and smear Walz for not doing something that you insuated you had done but in reality had never done!

J.D. Vance is a disgrace to America and a disgrace to all veterans. There is a Golden Rule that is unwritten among veterans. You never ever attack a fellow veteran for service provided to the country. Tim Walz did NOT "Abandon" anything. There is a rule that says any veteran can retire for any reason after 20 years of service for any reason. Tim Walz served in the military for 24 years! Walz then chose to retire. Americans should be thankful for veterans such as Tim Walz.

When Tim Walz was asked about J.D. Vance, we saw Tim Walz show "Respect" to his fellow veteran by "Thanking" J.D. Vance for his service to America. We did NOT see J.D. Vance show that same type of "Respect" to Tim Walz. J.D. Vance showed "Disrespect" to ALL veterans!

Iraq was a fuel war like most wars . The Bush family created a 34 year civil war in Iraq and not much of anything else. Not to take away valor of a soldier : 4500 Americans died in the Iraq conflict . In the last 30 years : about 110, 000 truckers died fulfilling their duty on American Highways. In 30 years almost a million people died on American roadways.Statistically it was safer to go to Iraq than Walmart. 😢
