Actually these amiibo granted special abilities for Kirby: Planet Robobot on the 3DS.
The Kirby Amiibo grants the player the rare UFO ability and the others grant stylized versions of Hammer, Sword, and Spear, that look like the amiibos they're based off of.

I know because I have all four, lol.
