So I bought this $750 iBuyPower gaming PC from Walmart without even knowing what CPU and GPU it has! Was really hoping for at least a GTX 1650 but that's not what we have here.
In this video, we see just what Walmart and iBuyPower are selling as a gaming PC in 2021 for $750 USD $801 after Tax. SO can it game? or run our favorite emulators like CXBX for OG XBOX, CEMU for Wiiu, Or RPCS3 for PS2? Let's find out.

The blind-box PC, what a concept. I can understand the allure of the "mystery package" and wanting to find out and hoping you'd come out on top as you often do. At least you got a good video out of it. Can't win them all. I enjoyed watching.

Funny I found 2 of these at a Walmart in CT. I was wondering the same about the specs and just left them, glad I saw this vid. Thanks a bunch for the info.

Even if company's buy in bulk some parts are still expensive.
Way to go is using cheaper parts that still sound fancy on the list of specs ? 😄

One of my local Wal Marts has then Clearanced down to $349. I might take a shot at buying it just to have a spare comp.

You got taken by that walmart. Even the HP Pavilion gaming rig they sell (I5-11th gen with a GTX1650) is only $599. They usually try to sell third party returns by putting them on clearance. I got a Polk signa solo sound bar for $20.

So they slapped a random price on something the store doesn’t know what it is? I’d have offered the store manager $400 😂

This could’ve been a decent choice for the money if it wasn't for that 1030. I remember when they sold a system with an R5 1400 and a 580 for the same price, a lot can change in 4 years that's for damn sure.

So sad, I built a PC long ago with a GTX 1050 TI paid $109 for the GPU now it's like $250 to $400 atm on Amazon. Great video ETA.

Picked up a used ITX PC on FB Marketplace recently for $680. It had a liquid-cooled i5-8600K, a GTX 1060 6GB, 1TB HDD, and a 550W PSU. I added a $30 SSD and I think it ended up being a great deal. Right now the best way to get a good PC is to go used, IMO.

They had one of these on clearance at my Walmart for $399. I have extra RAM and a GTX 980 laying around to throw in it so I think it's worth it.

I thought that Walmart had a return policy. Maybe you should return it and then someone can buy it cheaper as an open box item lol

I went with a friend to mine at walmart, and for 629$ he got a ryzen 3600, and a 5600xt. Can't find it online though!

But the link on my reply, has a ok 799$ walmart build. 3400g and 1650.

I have built many computers over the years, and I wouldn't even consider dealing with 8 different sellers on ebay, to collect used components, to get a 25% discount.
