wow, im a California landbase angler, you just gave me a better retrieve system, I usually do a 8oz spider weight with a bait just a little bit bigger than my hand, now I can drop bigger baits with this rig, I know alot of people like to do the brick style, I'm more of a spider weight type dude

Great tip especially if you have something that big as a weight. It really isn't hard to make your own lead weights but you really need to be careful because it is very dangerous. So I like to see that people are making and selling something like this. Great Video.

It's the same technique. Did you use on your grappling hook anchor for your boat setup. Is referred to as a rock anchor setup. The way the one line will break away. Allowing the anchor to flip. So you can retrieve it. This just also put onto a fishing weight. Good idea.

actually looking for a breakaway clip for sacrificial sinker in coral reefs for a two pole trolly type system in Bali but this is really a helpful trick if I ever make it back to North Carolina.

No different then we using a wreck anchor with a boat same concept for 100 years only we use zip ties instead of 10 lb test line
