Man, I love, love, love the wood frame. It is really cool that you built what you want yourself. And using rubber bands to add customisable tension is awesome. Everybody knows they are not completely durable, but you are literally creating a custom hardware solution. Have you seen the teenager who was on Linus Tech Tips for making a haptic glove out of disassembled pre-optical, ball mice? Really cool.

In Brazil, we call that a "Gambiarra" (It pronounces gam-bee-ah-ha by the way). Really efficient method to deal with whatever problem comes up.

I actually prefer an H shifter more, idk maybe it’s just the aesthetic of having it like that

Just unscrew the left and right silver screw( just enough for the rubber bands) then do like an 8 figure leaving the shift nob in the middle works better in my opinion. I did the same on mine. Don’t forget to remap tho.
