I gotta say.... this is what we need. I cannot stand seeing the same horror movies being shown as the "scariest" movies and like you said videos that feel thrown together *cough*watchmojo*cough* so thank you for putting in the time and sacrificing your mind for us haha

The Grudge (2004) scared the shit out of me. My 20-something daughter (loves a bit of horror) and I saw this at the cinema and we returned to an empty dark house afterwards. We both could "hear" that throat noise in our heads as we walked in. Goose bumps.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe is fantastic. The script is as scary as the movie. Never heard of Alone, so I'm looking forward to checking that out. And you've reminded me that I always intended on watching Annabelle creation, so I'll get to that tonight. Keep up the great work!

I watched Haunted Asylum, the Korean film you recommended last year. That forest scene was genuinely scary, I haven't been been scared by a horror film like that since I was a kid! Great recommendation

The Ring sends chills. It is one of the few movies I cannot watch alone at dark. It might be the only movie I cannot watch alone. It's just eerie and gets under my skin.

a good recent one worth mentioning I watched recently was Creep. I had a hard time watching some of the scenes, but it did a great job at keeping the suspense throughout the entirety of the film, I felt so uneasy watching some scenes because they way they crafted the movie made you feel so many emotions throughout the whole thing. Definitely worth mentioning, gave me a good scare.

I've not seen Toe but it seems to be inspired by David Lynchs early style like Eraserhead.
