The instant the episode finished, I climbed on my bed and pulled down my mandolin from the top of my cupboard where it had been gathering dust for years. I played and played and played until I figured it out by ear, which usually frustrates the hell out of me, but I simply had to learn it. Was sat there at 3 am with a big stupid smile on my face when I finally got it.

I grew up in a very rural area, hit hard by drugs and poverty. I've seen parents treat their daughters getting pregnant as a good thing as they got "lucky" and knocked up by the "right guy" in town whose family has decent money. I've related to the show for its entirety, but the Princess Carolyn backstory was the closest to home the show has ever hit me before. Your song on the end credits just drove that emotional nail into the coffin for me.

You know what Alex, Bojack Horseman's end credits gave me a kind of nostalgia for the time of my life I started binging the show when I was depressed but at the same time trying to make myself laugh. I always wanted to have a full 3 mins version of the song. For a last few months I felt stressed again and when I found this on Youtube I have been constantly listening to it. Somehow the instruments, the way you play it make me calm and each time I feel stressed I listen to this so I can only focus on the instruments and forget everything else.
