What's extra pathetic about The Bojack Horseman Show (2007) is he acts above his past by dumping on the Horsin' Around VHS tapes, but as soon as it goes south, what does he do? tries to get Sarah Lynn, the only still famous person from that show, to save the trainwreck and clinch his past relevancy. Once it fails, he goes back to reveling in Horsin' Around.

It's such a cautionary tale of not getting full of yourself and not counting your chickens before they hatch.
