I can see the story going one of three ways:
a) Pochita kills everyone he wants to and Denji gets brought back to reality in the end again, with the aftereffects of the dinning being felt;
b) this doesn't go very well for Pochita, he might throw up a ton of stuff he ate finally and Denji gets a bad ending/his ending is left hanging on a sour note as we go into Part 3
c) what Fujimoto will write instead.

I hope we keep exploring the erasing side of his power but I'm afraid the story wouldn't be able to progress if Pochita just ate a bunch of stuff that like ears, makes a huge difference in our lives. Really excited for the future of the manga

In my language (Portuguese), we have a different name for the ear and the acutal thing that allows us to hear. In english, both are called "ear". I don't how it is in japanese, but maybe the part that was erased was just the "external part", and hearing is still a thing. This might be copium tho
