I did enjoy There’s No Such Thing As An Easy Job. Looks like you had some intriguing titles that I’ll be looking into

I loved How Much of These Hills is Gold. It was in my top 5 in the year I read it. Definitely recommended!

Gay Bar was such a great book in my opinion. I love these videos, I watch them with a pen and paper so I can make a shopping list of books I need to check out 😂

Ooh I love Roxane Gay but I've not yet read An Untamed State. I've read most of her other books though. Last year I really loved her graphic novel The Banks, a heist drama about 3 generations of Black women taking reparations into their own hands. Definitely recommend that one!

I think only five unhauls in a month for your first year on booktube is pretty good. (I hope I understood it with the right numbers) I can't believe you have only been on Booktube since 2019! Feel like I've been watching you forever.

Happiness is a lovely book. I listened to it on audio. It’s a book that has a real feel good factor to it. I loved it😍

After Francesco is still on my unread TBR. It was to be read in June.

Funny you mentioned Far Field. I just completed that one yesterday as the oldest unread BOTM on my shelf. And I was thoroughly enjoying it for a good 50-75% of the way UNTIL I realized that maybe the main character was not going to evolve in any way after all and then it completely fell flat and unresolved. I was trying to find meaning in why she would end it that way but I just felt so disgusted and dissatisfied especially with the main character. Disappointing.

I think you need a month with only feel good/ life affirming books. Ask subscribers for their best “happy “ reads.
