I would give Sarah Dessen a try and see how you feel about it. The way you feel about one would probably be the way you feel about all of them. I have read The Raven Boys but it was on audio and I feel I would need to read it physically to fully comprehend it. I don’t remember too much.

I love the The Raven Boys. I will warn you that it takes about 100 pages to get into the story but after, it's just incredible. I highly recommend the audiobook, if you have access to that.

If you like travelogues and England, you will love A Fine Romance. I’m a slow reader so it took me a couple days to read, but faster readers could probably finish it in a few hours.

Good video. It's hard not buying books when you can get a good deal on them. I also have stacks of books I haven't gotten too. Trying to read one library book and then one of my own, that seems to work ok.

Oh goodness!! This will mostly likely be me in 2 years 😂 this is the problem with picking up books that are $1-$2 and sit unread for forever! Gosh darn you, book sales 🤷‍♀️

Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen ... I enjoyed but it depends on if you really enjoy contemporary teenage drama based around a girl who is used to looking after herself and a boy who seems to have it all.

I would suggest The Raven Boys, perfect for autumn or Halloween, but also a good choice for the summer... I'm planning to pick up the last book in the series in the next days.

The Raven Boys feels (to me) like more of a September into fall read. I love that series and will.probably be rereading it again in the fall lol.
The Sarah Dessen books are both pretty decent. I think you'd enjoy them

I haven't read any of the ones you mentioned today, so no comments there. But I'm reading 90% of books off my shelf this summer and it's feeling good to move some books along. Happy reading!

I don't believe I own any books by Sarah Dessen, she just has never struck my fancy I guess. I have tons of unread books all around me, and like you, I want to start reading these before buying too many more, let's see how well we do!😊
