How to raise and lower objects in The Sims 4 on PS4!

Here's the cheat for how to raise and lower objects in The Sims 4 on console.
Open the cheat bar: L1+L2+R1+R2
Press X to bring up keyboard.
Select 'done'.
L1+L2+R1+R2 to get rid of cheat bar.

GIRL. Thank you SOOO much, seriously. You have no idea how much you have helped me!!! Edit: EA finally came out with a patch on consoles for raising and lowering objects and resizing. To raise objects: HOLD L2 & R2 and tap up in the D-Pad. To resize objects: HOLD L2 & R2 and tap left (to make smaller) or tap right (to make larger).

For Xbox, hold rt and lt then press the up arrow. It worked for me 😊

Everyone on ps4 you need to press R2 and L2 and use the up and down arrows it took me a while to figure that it out hope this was helpful 😊😊😊

If you hold L2 + R2 and hit up and down on d-pad you can raise objects and lower them

I finally figured it out u press R2 + L2 and press the up arrow and then it works

Guys to move it away from the wall u just press one of the trigger buttons and then it will say free move or something like that then u can move it anywhere like away from the wall and also to make raising the object work everytime u just hold one of the trigger buttons This is both for Xbox and PS4 (I said one of the trigger buttons because I’m not sure which one I forgot but just test it out) hope this helped anyone :)

If you press R2 with cheats i think you can toggle the grid and make it free placement so it doesnt get stuck in walls. :)

Ok so on x box all u have to do is hold Lt and Rt at the same time and press the up button I just figured this out I promise it woks

If you want to make things bigger and smaller: Pick a object, and hold in L2 and R2 at the same time click left if you want yo make it smaller and right to make it bigger.

Okay for anyone still struggling with doing it- I played around and if you press L2 and R2 it’ll move up and down wherever you want it to.

I figured out what to do! You have your object on the wall, hold down l2 and r2, and then press the up arrow! With new updates, you are able to take it away from the wall :)

Also doing the same thing (pressing R2 L2) but doing to left and right arrow can size up and down objects. Sorry if this sounds confusing though.

It doesn’t work for me, by pressing the up arrow you change level, like it changed to the second floor
