We don't currently have any videos showing how to put a real natural item into resin, but I can definitely put it on our to-do list. It would be a great technique to show. Basically you just need to place the plant into the resin, same way as any other object, but just take into account that it will move around and if there are petals, they tend to collapse inwards and stick to each other (so your flower might not look the same as when you started).

A lot of people say that you can use a heat gun to get the bubbles out of resin, but personally, it has never worked for me. It blows and displaces the resin which I am not ok with.

Attempted this and followed the video tutorial exactly. However, when I later pulled the clear tape off of the back, it left a matte or satiny finish - it was definitely not crystal shiny clear like the front :(

If they have dimension to them, try flattening them out between a book first. Finally, make sure the ENTIRE plant is covered in resin, otherwise the colors will do some pretty odd stuff as part of it decays.

My resin has a cloudy look to it when I remove the tape. Any idea what is causing this and how to prevent it?
